Leadership
I am the founding pastor of CrossRoads Church (formerly El Centro Cristiano), along with my wife (Arlynn) a little over eight years ago. I felt the Lord leading me into Ministry when I was 19. That led me to a couple of short-term missions experiences. The first was a two month intensive summer mission trip with a group called Spearhead a division of Latin America Missions in Mexico City. My second cross-cultural experience was in Fresnillo, Zacatecas Mexico. This time I served for a mission called Christ For Children International for a year and two months. It was while living in Mexico that I started to sense God leading me into Hispanic church-planting.
My ministerial training includes a Bachelors of Science degree in Christian Ministries from Southern Wesleyan University and a Masters of Evangelism degree from Wheaton College. But my greatest training has come from my now twelve years of pastoring/church planting: one summer internship with a UMC church in Virginia, a church-plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and now presently here San Antonio with CrossRoads Church.
I'm also the District's Missions Director for Texas and Louisiana of The Wesleyan Church, overseeing short-term trips to the Amazon Region of Peru.
The book that has most inspired me outside of the Bible is entitled "Bruchko".
